Twelve Steps with Christ Jesus

Real people. Ordinary people. We have admitted we cannot simply 'choose' our way into free, whole and loving attitudes by the strength of our own willpower. We don't have the answers, but we know Someone who does. We seek the God who loves us, who heals us, who sets our love in order. We do this alongside each other, using the path of twelve steps.

Leadership Training

Walnut Hill offers its members and leaders a variety of teaching and training experiences through which to grow in their roles in ministry and leadership.

Walnut Hill Institute

The Walnut Hill Institute exists to help all Christ-followers to grow in their knowledge and application of God's Word. With an emphasis on developing biblically-based thinking and living in the lives of all participants, the Walnut Hill Institute offers classes and seminars in the areas of Biblical Understanding, Spiritual Growth and Christ-like Living.

Family Ministry

The family was created by God to be a cornerstone of society. The health of our country depends upon the health of our families. It is apparent today more than ever before that families need the Lord. To help make the invisible Christ visible in our home, this ministry aims at equipping families to minister to each other.

Marriage Builders

Marriage Builders seeks to provide resources and people to help couples prepare for marriage, strengthen good marriages, tune-up marriages that have gotten off track or heal the wounds of separation or divorce.

Junior High Youth Ministry

Youth Group usually meets on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Walnut Hill. Outreach events are planned monthly. Special activities are planned in the summer months.

Senior High Youth Ministry

Senior high students meet weekly in student-led WHY Groups in area towns during the school year. Outreach events are planned monthly. Summer youth group meets on Thursdays at Walnut Hill from 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Children's Ministry

 

Walnut Hill Reperatory Company

THE WALNUT HILL REPERATORY COMPANY, under the direction of Heather Sartin, is a drama ministry consisting of actors who perform both full-length outreach productions and dramatic/comedic scenes within the weekly services. Past productions include interactive Dinner Theater such as Uncle Phil's Diner and I Remember When.

Community in the Arts

COMMUNITY IN THE ARTS consists of vocalists, instrumentalists and technical artists who lead worship at all four services and at special church events. The group's goal is to "make the invisible Christ visible" through both contemporary worship and praise songs and traditional hymns. The Worship Ensemble is an auditioned group under the direction of Steve Sartin, our Pastor of Worship and the Arts.

Roaring Lambs

ROARING LAMBS is a group of visual artists, both fledgling and professional, who create biblically-inspired paintings, sculptures and drawings. The group's work is prominently displayed in the Walnut Hill gallery.
